Why these 3 Days? We begin a new tradition according to the 13 Month Magoist Calendar. Tune in with Mother Time in Mago Almanac: 13 Month 28 Day Calendar (Book A) Volume 2. Dec. 18 is the New Year according to the 13 Month Magoist Calendar and Dec. 22 is Winter Solstice. New Year on the new moon before the December Solstice.

Call for Participations include two categories (1) Promotional data on your books and artworks for Online Book & Art Fair. (2) Digital Goddess Posters. Please find submission forms below.
Book & Art Fair seeks data on your books and artworks to create a list of Mago Work Authors and Artists, an advertisement on your book(s) and/or artwork(s), which will be featured in Mago Academy (http://www.magoacademy.org). Also we will honor Mago Work authors and artists who have contributed to Return to Mago E-Magazine and Mago Books (She Rises Volume 1, 2, and 3 and Celebrating Seasons of the Goddess) by creating your bio page in Gynapedia: Mago Wickedary of Goddess Feminism, Activism and Spirituality (http://www.gynapedia.com).
Goddess Icons seeks digital posters on specific Goddess(es) or Goddess theme(s). If you are interested in creating and submitting yours or your students, please see the submission guidelines below. This year, we will hold an exhibit of the Roman Goddess Posters to be submitted by students from a class, “Goddesses in Myth and History” taught by Dr. Mary Ann Beavis in University of Saskatchewan.
Promotional Data on Books and Artworks Guidelines
- Authors and Artists, please send the website info on your book(s) and/or artworks. Mago Academy will collect and display in a web page for 3 days and the year 2019.
- Submit the title(s) of your book(s) and/or artwork(s) including audio/video works. You may submit a total of up to 3 items
- Indicate that your website must have a short bio and photo of yourself. Or include them in your email.
- To have a page dedicated to you created in Gynapedia, include the information about yourself and your work (800-1500 words). Check out a sample bio page in Gynapedia.com.
Submit it to Dr. Helen Hye-Sook Hwang via email (magoacademy@gmail.com). State “Book & Art Fair” in the subject line.
Goddess Icon Submission Guidelines
1. Save the image(s) of your Goddess Icon(s) in jpg (300 dpi is desirable). You may submit up to 3 icons.
2. Include a description of your piece (title and a brief description about the work or the Goddess).
3. Short bio of yourself and your self-photo image.
4. If you are a teacher or a director who wants to hold a competition of a specific topic of Goddess Icons among your group, describe your competition topic (include a sample icon) as well as the above 3 items.
Submit it to Dr. Helen Hye-Sook Hwang via email (magoacademy@gmail.com). State “Goddess Icon Submission” in the subject line.
