Day 8: Cross-cultural Manifestations of the Nine Creatrix
How does the Nine Creatrix manifest across cultures? What can we draw from these images? BTW, these are only some samples of each category. I have not included place-names, topographies, and events that do not come with visiual images.

Reflections points on the Nine Symbolism:
- Durgas, Matrikas, Kalis, Gorgons, Muses, Doumus, and Merichis all come in the form of nine in their respective iconographies. Do you know who these Goddesses are? Which cultures/religions/peoples are they associated with?
- Yggdrasil, Tripod Cauldron, dragon, the Scripture of the Heavenly Emblem, Roof Tile, Snake, Fox, and Mandala involve the nine. You name them. Explore each within a specific context of mythology, religion, history or culture.
- For Day 9, we will examine how the Nine Creatrix has been under attack in patriarchal mythologies, histories, and religions.
